Great Show - Good Recording
It was a great show, we Utahns thouroughly enjoyed it, it was a summer happening, to be sure. This recording is good, not perfect fidelity, but it is pretty darn good. Thank you to Russ for sharing!
I was at the Rhythm Devils concert at Red Butte Gardens, standing a bit right and behind of Russ Minus (he was the only one around me recording, that I could see, although I don't know Russ personally).
I'm copying the flac's and quite enjoy the recording of the show. It wasn't just any show, it was when Mickey and the Boys came to Salt Lake which makes it local for those thousands of us Heads and Friends who do live behind the Utah Zion Curtain. Yes, "We are everywhere," (including Utah) as it was oft said in the days of Live Dead.
The show was locally "special" too because it was the day after "Pioneer Dayz" when Utah celebrates its statehood (locals know what this means). So, I said at end of Samson & Deliah "Welcome to Utah. We sure 'preciate cha." And, indeed, we do. Cheers.
